External

It helps to understand that there is more to training than just desensitize and conditioned something, especially a horse, to perform a task. A good trainer is consistent with their cues, patient enough to wait for the other to understand what the cue means, and is persistent about getting a result even if it is a small one.

When working externally, although we change what we do every day, we teach through repetition and building on a strong foundation of trust. We use different aids like wrapping, cavillettis, special tack/equipment, essential oils, and supplements while completing different exercises to help balance the horse and build their confidence. Some of these are:

  • Round Pen Exercises
  • Driving
  • Lounging
  • Roping
  • Tricks
  • Trailering

  • Riding Exercises
  • Jumping

  • Flexing Exercises
