A Deeper Bond: Exploring Connection Through Integrative Bodywork For Horses And People.

Dual Purpose

HUMANS

Working with horses helps people find their purpose, improve self-awareness, and expand their conscious connection to something bigger than them, in relationship to what they are personally experiencing in the moment.

HORSES

To help horses heal and learn by integrating different types of body work into their daily routine. Our purpose is to expand the horse’s identity and educate People in the understanding that some horses are here to heal us and are no longer a beast of burden; in the same way that has been previously defined. Realizing they are so much more than “just an animal.”

HOWE To

This short video is dedicated to my Little Indian Pony, Dolly.

She was a birthday present from my husband. We had an awesome five years together, but sadly passed away at ten years old from cancer. She will always have a special place in my heart…

The filming was done by a very talented gal from Italy that I met fortuitously on a boat ride from Catalina Island. We had a short time frame together and I was so nervous, but I think she captured the essence of what I do.

Thank you to my Italian friend and Dolly, my beautiful mare, the movie star that she was.

Enjoy

It Works Both Ways

Opportunities For Both Human And Horse

Horses Healing People

Whether you own a horse or not, you can have an Equine Experience. When you are in the presence of a Horse, without having to change anything, you can explore any area of your life. As a sentinel being, a horse is ever present and sees you in the moment from a highly sensitive and different perspective. That gives way for a new awareness of one’s self to occur.

Benefits include:

  • Healthy Boundaries
  • Leadership Skills
  • Body Awareness
  • Mental Clarity
  • Emotional Resonance
  • Spiritual Expansion

Healing Horses

How do You determine if a behavior or training problem with your horse is mental or physical?

The horse can be reactive/unmanageable due to many things besides health issues. These include negative past experiences, poor handling, sketchy environment, fear, pain and simply not understanding what is being asked of the horse to do.

Problems can arise quickly or over a period of time and for many reasons. Effective, long lasting results comes from dealing with the root of the problem, not just the symptoms. Usually, the root of the problem is part of an unknown or a blind spot.

To help discern the mental and physical state of the horse, I use a Check List and Chart to evaluate and determine what to do with them that day. There are two main check lists, Yearly and Daily.

Ultimately, the lists are used in tracking the health of the horse in relationship to their performance. In most cases, the mental and physical are tied together, as you see one improve so should the other.
